Teodora “Teah” Fagins is a compassionate force and a resilient leader deeply embedded in the fabric of the military community. Based in Colorado Springs, she serves as an Outreach Facilitator for a nonprofit foundation, supporting Special Operations Forces and their families stationed at Fort Carson, CO. In this transformative role, Teah empowers warriors and their loved ones to navigate life beyond the battlefield, fostering healing, reintegration, and lasting resilience.
Her work at the nonprofit foundation is both strategic and deeply personal. Teah not only facilitates outreach and peer connection but also leads event planning for military families, coordinating gatherings that provide space for reflection, connection, and growth. These events serve as crucial touchpoints, enabling families to build lasting support networks in safe and welcoming spaces, share their experiences, and access healing in a safe and supportive environment.
In addition to her work with the nonprofit organization, Teah has served as an Operations Administrative Assistant to a local Chamber of Commerce since August 2023. In this role, she provides professional communications, organizational support, and operational coordination to help the Chamber further its mission of empowering business owners, including those from the military community. Her work enhances visibility and engagement, helping to ensure military spouses and veteran entrepreneurs have a seat at the table.
Teah’s foundation for advocacy is both academic and personal. She holds a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Military Resilience from Liberty University, where she focused on trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, and strengthening military families. Her training empowers her to meet people with empathy, evidence-based strategies, and an unshakable commitment to their growth.
For over 19 years, Teah has lived the military life—supporting her husband, a U.S. Army Special Forces officer, through 15 relocations and countless deployments. Her first-hand experience fuels her service, providing her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by SOF military families and empowering her to advocate with authenticity and compassion. She has held key volunteer leadership roles as the Program Lead for the 10th Special Forces Group’s Spouse-to-Spouse initiative and Advisor to the 4/10 Soldier and Family Readiness Group, guiding spouses through the complexities of military transitions and community reintegration.
From Fort Bragg to Stuttgart, spearheading high-impact marketing campaigns for MWR, transforming community engagement through strategic messaging, bold creativity, and a deep understanding of military life, to church hospitality teams and women’s Bible study groups. A dynamic communicator, strategic event planner, wellness advocate, and grassroots leader, Teodora Fagins is the driving force behind campaigns that connect, uplift, and inspire the military community—living its values as she leads with purpose.
Whether managing event logistics, mentoring a new spouse, or coordinating community initiatives, Teah’s work always reflects her values: faith, resilience, empathy, and purpose.
